Blogger Secret Santas!

I am a miserable person who does not like Christmas.  However, I LOVE buying presents so when I saw the words 'Blogger Secret Santa' pop up on Twitter, my ears pricked up and I signed up to two. Yes, I'm greedy.  The first one I joined was Hayley's from Tea Party Beauty and the second was Jessie's from Dungaree's and Doughnut's.

From Jessie's Secret Santa, Rachael who runs Rachaelamyy bought me these goodies.

Pepé eyeing up the lipbalm.

I was thrilled as I took the photos then I looked behind me and realised that I still had more presents to open.  Forgotten presents are the best presents and result in more tea :)
When I opened up the parcel the first thing I noticed was the unique smell of Lush so I already knew that Rachael had got it right.  I had only recently used a Golden Wonder bath ballistic so I'm looking forward to feeling like a mermaid again.  The teapigs tea was great too.  I love chai tea so I now have a collection to see me through winter.  I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but little Pepé loves sneaking into my room and chewing up my lip balms so I was very grateful for the Yes To Carrots lip balm I received and am keeping it far far away from little dogs.
I have always wanted to try bath teabags and this was pure genius.  What a perfect gift to get a girl who likes tea, baths and runs a blog called Tea in the Tub?  Genius.  Thank you so much Rachael.

The next bundle of joy I received from Hayley's Secret Santa was from Hannah who runs Dainty and Ivory.  Sadly I was too eager to open the presents so there are only post-unwrapping photos.

Hannah also got it spot on.  I love candles and the smell of pine so got me a lovely pine candle.  The super cute cracker contained a bath bomb and that little white tub was some delicious home-made lip scrub.  It's hard not to eat it.  It taste's just like cake mix.  Mmmm.
When I turned on the Hello Kitty mood light, I was expecting it to glow white but oooh no.  It's a light show!!  It changes from red to blue to white to green to yellow.  I love it.  The reindeer is happily hanging on our Christmas tree too.  Thanks Hannah.

I'd like to thank Jessie and Hayley for hosting two fantastic Secret Santa's.  It must have been quite stressful making sure everyone had a match.  I'd also like to thank Hannah and Rachael again for picking the perfect gifts for a stranger.  Roll on Secret Easter bunny!

Did you participate in any Secret Santa's this year?  What did you get?

  1. So much Tea, and the bathtub tea sounds interesting! Glad you liked what I sent, I still need to get myself a Hello Kitty mood light!
The lip scrub is really simple to make if you ever want to make more, its ingredients are coconut oil, sugar (brown tends to be better but I used a mixture of white and brown in the one I sent you) honey (optional) and I added Vanilla flavouring to yours, although you can try different ones, all you have to do is blend it together!

I hope you have a lovely Christmas!
