Arouse Me Body Scrub, Beauty Kitchen - Review

Arouse Me Body Scrub, Beauty Kitchen*
I love body scrubs.  Many call themselves 'scrubs' when in actuality rubbing silk across your body would be more exfoliating.  Basically, I like my scrubs rough!  Beauty Kitchen not only provides texture to be proud of, but also a scent to die for!

Beauty Kitchen are a completely natural, Scottish based company who use local ingredients such as British grown brown sugar, seeds, flowers and essential oils.  Their products are completely customisable too.  Want an epsom salt base?  No problem.  Fancy some stinging nettles thrown in for good measure?  Sure thing.  This is easily do this on the Make Your Own section of their website and they also do hampers where they send you the kit to make it yourself.  If you are visiting or live in Glasgow, Beauty Kitchen offer a 'Beauty Kitchen Experience' which I think would be great for a girly get-together or hen party.  Possibly even a Scottish beauty blogger meet-up?

I was send the Arouse me scented scrub made with rose petals and brown sugar.  I couldn't have created a nicer smelling one myself.  I love cedarwood and spice so this was yummy.  As I've said, it was rough enough to feel like it was working but not at all like sandpaper.  It is so highly concentrated in essential oils that it was completely unnecessary to moisturise after and my legs were left baby smooth and gorgeous smelling.  Everytime I used this scrub I received compliments from customers at work and a guy intoxicated by the smell on a date.  Score!

This product lasted a good couple of months using it up to twice weekly.  Sadly I have just ran out but it is needless to say that this is simply the best scrub I have ever used and will certainly be making a purchase very soon.
Even Pepé loved the scrub
Do you like a good body scrub?  What are your favourite scents?

    1. I don't know any other companies that offer a make-your-own online and as in-store parties. Just a shame I live in South West England and not Glasgow!
