e.l.f. Cosmetics Review

To celebrate reaching certain blog targets and getting back on track with life, I've decided to host a giveaway to say thanks. Plus it's almost Easter! You can win a selection of e.l.f. goodies by entering via the Rafflecopter form below.

*Apologies in advance for the poor quality photos and lack of pictures of the products in use/on my skin*
e.l.f. are a company I heard about years ago but have only recently tried. They are a budget beauty brand with an amazingly vast range. Originally from America, they arrived in Britain in 2007 basing themselves in my old uni town of beautiful Swansea. Their products are cruelty-free and completely vegan. They are even partners with PETA. A company with ethics is what I like to see and support.

I have been struggling to find a decent low-budget brown mascara for too long so tried out the Lengthening & Volumising Mascara in dark brown. For under £4 I was really impressed and will certainly be trying other e.l.f. mascaras in the future. No clumping or smearing and a breeze to apply.

I'd read a lot about how great eyelid primer is for making your eyeshadow last. I must have very sweaty eyelids as eyeshadow tends to absorb/disappear whenever I apply it. The Eyelid Primer blended quickly and efficiently into my skin and is another product I will be repurchasing as magically all my eyeshadows lasted so much longer. *Win me below*

I recently left my favourite tinted lip balm in a hotel so purchased Mineral Moisturizing Lip Tint SPF 8 in natural. It is a bit too much like a lipstick for my liking as it left a lot of colour. However it left my lips smooth and with summer around the corner, the added SPF was a big bonus. I'll be buying this again but in a brighter colour such as guava as the natural colour doesn't quite suit my complexion.

Of all the products I ordered, I was least excited to try the Plumping Lip Glaze due to not being a massive wearer of lip gloss but I was pleasantly surprised. It left a tingling sensation and my lips looked plump and healthy rather than sticky and wet. It has a double ended applicator. You use the clear end first and then the coloured end. Both have the lip plumping properties and I found that they work great separately and together. *Win me below*

I wish I had tried e.l.f. years ago as I would have saved a lot of money. I am happy to say I've found my go-to brand for when I want to try new make-up. Keep up the good work e.l.f. and I look forward to trying out more of your products.

e.l.f. impressed me so much with their budget prices and cruelty-free ethics that I couldn't resist sharing them with you so please fill in the Rafflecopter form below for your chance to win some marvellous products. I will be announcing the winner on the 23rd April.

Good Luck!
