Fleabag Friday | Oakly

Warning! Do not continue reading if you have a weakness for super cute puppies. Stephanie from DIY Made Simple is the lucky owner of this beauty. Meet Oakly.
Oakly
This is my adorable fur baby, Oakly! Isn’t he the cutest? This little bug holds a special place in mine and my husband’s hearts because he was a Christmas gift. I know, that just made him even cuter, right? My huband has wanted a yellow lab puppy since he was eight years old. Fast forward 18 years and his dream came true!

I heard from a friend that a litter of yellow labs was born a town over and looking for a good home. So three weeks after the 10 puppies were born we went to go pick out our favourite.

I can say, with complete confidence, that a litter of 10 newborn lab puppies is one of the cutest things in the entire world. They were so fluffy precious!

Over the next few weeks, we kept visiting and eventually picked out lil Oak pup as our newest family member. It was almost unbelievable how fast Oakly grew up before we took him home.

When he finally did come home with us it was clear that he was a complete cuddler! He wouldn’t even go to sleep unless he was laying beside us. While he’s not allowed on the bed today, he’s certainly has the same habit of always wanting to snuggle.

Here’s Oakly today with his two best friends, Breeze and Tyoga, Australian Shepherds.

If you are interested in taking part in my Flea-Bag Friday series, please get in touch.  All pets are welcome. Fish, frogs, donkeys, dogs, etc. Just comment below or send a tweet @teainthetub

Depending on the the response I get, I will be turning this into a competition where readers can vote on their favourite pet and the pet with the most votes will be sent some treats in the post.
