Green People SPF 15 Sun Lotion with Tan Accelerator - Review

Green People SPF 15 Sun Lotion with Tan Accelerator
Green People SPF 15 Sun Lotion with Tan Accelerator*
I had been looking for a new cruelty-free sun lotion for a while when Green People saw my 'tweets' asking for recommendations and offered me to try theirs. What good timing too as a few days after their award winning SPF 15 Sun Lotion with tan accelerator arrived, I was off to sunny Spain.

This lotion consists of 82% organic ingredients and is free from all those weird things like parabens, synthetic fragrances, foaming agents etc plus 10% of net profit goes to charity. Well done Green People! This particular product contains organic aloe vera which is good for loads of things such as calming the skin, green tea which is an antioxidant and edelweiss which is a mountain flower, giving this sun lotion a scent rather similar to lavender rather than the standard coconut aroma.

I am very fair skinned and do not think factor 15 would have been suitable to use on it's own in the Spanish heat so I packed a factor 30 with me as well. Green People's lotion was mild enough to use on my face and blended well without leaving white residue. I'm happy to report that I only burnt slightly on my bum/upper thigh but that was entirely my fault for not applying lotion all over in the mid-day sun on the beach.

I continued to use Green People's Sun Lotion over the sunny days we had at home in the UK. SPF 15 just about gets me by and will be great to take to the USA with me this winter as UV rays penetrate clouds and cause skin damage so it's always good to wear some sort of SPF protection. Despite this factor being too low for me, I was really happy with the results so will be buying a higher factor from Green People in the future. Smells good, uses quality ingredients and actually works. Sold!
