Oil Cleanser & Natural SPF15 Moisturiser, MooGoo - Review

Shortly after moving to Australia, I heard about wonderful, natural MooGoo products (also available in the UK. Yipee!) and really wanted to try them out. The lovely MooGoo cowgirls agreed and kindly sent me out a few of their things to get me started.

The first thing I tried was their Oil Cleansing MethodBack home I always used a cream based cleanser so I was interested to use MooGoo's oil wash. Like MooGoo's other products  is unscented and suitable for those with the most sensitive of skin. I received one for combination skin but it is also available for those with normal, dry and oily skin.
For best results, use this with a hot damp cloth. Back home the majority of cleansers include a cloth in the packaging. Moogoo do not supply face cloths but this was no problem as I already had my own. I found it really light on my skin which was nice to massage in without feeling greasy. Another fab thing about this is that you do not need a separate eye make up remover as this does the job like a charm. No irritated eyes what so ever. I mostly only wear eye make up and found this was great at removing my eyeliner, Dusty Girls mascara and Dusty Girls earth cream (review coming next week!).
This oil cleanser is made of various fruit and seed oils and is packed full of vitamin e so is a real treat to use on your skin especially after a long day when your skin just feels tired.\I think I'm far more likely to pick this up rather than a cream cleanser in the future.
Cover-Up Buttercup Natural Moisturiser with SPF 15, MooGoo

To follow up with the cleansing, I used Cover-Up Buttecup Natural Moisturiser with SPF 15. Having just suffered a cold, my skin particular the bit between my top lip and nose was extremely dry and sensitive. As well as having SPF 15, this mosturiser like the oil cleaner is again, unscented. Unlike the watery moisturisers I'm used to, this is thicker so I was a bit worried that it would go blotchy leaving white residue on my face but no. Surprisingly it blended in really well and didn't leave my face shiny so I was really happy with the result. Due to it being thicker you don't need to use as much either so you're definitely getting a bargain as your not wasting your money on water... Literally!
I really like this moisturiser and think it would good to use daily, but for me SPF 15 is too low. If I was back in the UK then this would be the perfect moisturiser but in the Aussie summer I need SPF 50. I still really like this so it makes a perfect base layer for me to apply a higher factor facial sun cream on top. It also works well under makeup.

Overall I am much more impressed with MooGoo's skincare than I thought I would be. I think it's great that they make products for those with skin conditions such as eczema, dandruff and psoriasis. They also have a baby and pregnancy range and because they are unscented, everyone regardless of gender can use their products happily. I really want to try their Fresh Cream Deodorant which is aluminium free so will be keeping my eyes peeled for that and don't get me started on their adorable toy cows! Too cute.

Have you tried any skincare products from overseas before?
