Chocolate Orange Cleansing Oil, Lulu & Boo - Review

Chocolate Orange Cleansing Oil, Lulu & Boo*
Chocolate Orange Cleansing Oil, Lulu & Boo*
When it comes to chocolate orange, I have a problem. So much so that I created a tag dedicated to the combo. Whilst I obviously love the taste, it is the smell that really drives me wild so when I got my hands on Lulu & Boo's new Chocolate Orange Cleansing Oil, I couldn't wait to open it up to enjoy the smell and more importantly to see how well it does the job.

Generally cream cleansers are my go-to product so using an oil to cleanse my face a new experience. Two to three pumps onto my fingertips is more than sufficient. I rub my fingers together to warm up the oil then gently massage only my face before removing with a damp muslin cloth or flannel. The oil breaks down make up and is gentle enough to remove eye make up. Whether you have oily or sensitive skin, this is suitable for all types so do not let it being oil based put you off.

The aroma makes it a real treat which makes me look forward to using it each night. The smell was not quite what I was expecting. It has a fragrant orange aroma with gentle notes of chocolate. Not at all overpowering or sickly. A real delight to use.

Chocolate Orange Cleansing Oil, Lulu & Boo

After testing this product for over a month now, I can say that I am very pleased with the results. My fine lines were significantly reduced after only a week which I think is down to the product being rich in hydrating fatty acids.

Vegan Society and Soil Association certified, Lulu & Boo's Cleaning Oil is a high quality product and amazingly 99% organic so you know you will not be putting any chemical nasties onto your skin. Containing argan, chia, soya, jojoba, vitamin e, orange extracts and more, this cleanser is one of the nicest I have ever used. I am definitely going to be keeping my eye out for in the future and trying more Lulu & Boo products in the future.

Have you used a cleansing oil before? What are your favourite scents?

    1. As I have said, when my skin is looking dull then this brightens it up and reduces fine lines when I use it daily.
