|Mendill pure organic wet towelettes|
Followers of Tea in the Tub on Twitter (@teainthetub) will know that I recently won DB Review’s Mendill pure organic wet towelettes giveaway. (Yay!) I received one of each: nectarine, lemon, orange, eucalyptus and lavender. They are paraben, chemical, preservative and cruelty-free making them suitable for all skin types including babies. They are the worlds only 100% organic wipes, from the essential oils used to even the actual cotton. If that’s not enough for you then they are also super green (well, technically white) using recycled materials and sustainable practices PLUS Mendill donate to charity! If any company deserves a halo, it’s these guys.
As I eagerly awaited these to come through my door, I thought wet wipes served two purposes: sticky hands and removing make up. Oh how wrong I was. On the backs of the little handbag-sized packages are handy hints and tips to get the most from the therapeutic oils. There are more hints on the Mendill‘s website, such as using them to clean surfaces, massage onto temples and prevent nappy rash. I will be saving the eucalyptus wipe for when I’m feeling a bit ill or perhaps on my calves before a long run.
With the lemon towelette I was worried that I’d smell like household cleaner but instead it was a very subtle natural lemon scent, nothing chemical about it. They are not overpowering at all so don’t worry about being chased down the roads by hungry koalas when you’ve used the eucalyptus one.
I am yet to see Mendill on the high streets but you can buy them online.
Have you tried Mendill before? What ways do you use wet wipes?
