|Dead Sea bath soak*|
Wow! When Ruth herself from Ruth Romano sent me a sample of Lavender Dead Sea bath soak, I was not expecting salts with such a kick. I’ve used many bath salts before and whilst they smell lovely, their smell disappears almost as quickly as the salt does. This is far from the case with Ruth Romano.
I had worked a long shift, got home and went for a run on a cold, dark November evening oh and it was raining too. There was only one thing that kept me going and that was knowing I was going home to a hot bath to try out my new sample. As it says on the packaging, dead sea salts are excellent at soothing tired muscles plus the fact this one is fragranced with lavender, I knew I was in for a relaxing soak.
|Dead sea salts are huge! Not one to sprinkle on chips.|
The actual salts are really big but don’t let that put you off as they dissolve quickly and leave your bath extremely fragrant. Take caution though, as these salts have such a high oil content that you will probably need to quickly rinse your bath afterwards so that it is not slippery for the next user. I certainly didn’t need to moisturise after and my legs were still soft from all the oil the next day.
Ruth Romano bath salts would be perfect for anyone with sore, achey muscles or indeed anyone who needs a good dose of relaxation. I personally am not a huge lover of lavender but I just found this relieved so much tension that is has become my favourite product to use in the bath, especially after a run or before bed. I really want to try out the Lemongrass salts in the future. If you do not like very fragrant products then you can also enjoy the benefits of the salts without the essential oils with Dead Sea Bath Soak which are purely dead sea salt.
What are your favourite products to use in the bath? Do you like dead sea salt or epsom salts?
