|Montezuma’s British Pudding Advent Calendar|
This year I thought I would treat myself to a fancy advent calendar so after painstakingly trawling the internet, I decided on a Montezuma’s British Pudding Advent Calendar. The advent calendar itself is colourful and very pretty. It is a mainly a light blue with a cute symmetrical pattern featuring reindeer, robins, doves, baubles and snowflakes.
The generously sized chocolates come in four flavours: Eton Mess (milk chocolate with freeze dried strawberries and meringue pieces), Lemon Meringue (dark chocolate with meringue pieces and natural lemon flavouring), Summer Pudding (milk chocolate with freeze dried strawberries and freeze dried blueberries), and Treacle Tart (milk chocolate with hazelnut nibs and natural toffee flavour.)
This makes this advent calendar even more exciting as you never know which one you are going to get behind each door. My favourite so far is the Summer Pudding, but it is only day 9 so that could all change.
The only disappointing thing is that there are no pictures behind the doors. I know this is meant to be an advent calendar for ‘grown-ups’, but nobody can say no to a little snowman or Santa’s sleigh behind the door. Fortunately the Montezuma’s logo is a star which fits very well.

I had never tried Montezuma’s chocolate until the 1st of December and I am loving waking up each morning and indulging in a little treat so I will certainly be eating a lot more of their chocolate in the future.
Have you tried Montezuma’s chocolate before? What advent calendar did you get this year?
