|Golden Egg, Lush|
Easter. My second favourite holiday after Halloween. Who can resist all the little bunnies and springtime decorations? Other things I can’t resist are Lush‘s seasonal limited editions. Whilst recently perusing their website I noticed the new Golden Egg. As soon as I read that it has the Honey I Washed The Kids fragrance it was instantly added to my basket. HIWTK is perhaps my ultimate Lush fragrance. Either that or Silky Underwear. Mmmm.
I’ve used a lot of glittery products from Lush but none quite as glittery as this. My fingers were covered! It easily came off at the first touch of water but to save making a mess, you’ll want to get this into the bath with as minimal contact as possible.
As expected, the Golden Egg smelt wonderful. Sweet honey and caramel filled the bathroom. Yum. A perfectly relaxing (and non-fattening) Easter treat. Golden Egg is part bath melt, part bath ballistic so it is slow fizzing and skin softening. I found that it wasn’t as softening as many other Lush bath products I have tried and it left the water an undesirable colour. Whilst I loved the smell, I think I’ll be sticking to the Honey Bee bath bomb in the future and will not be repurchasing the Golden Egg. However, if I receive another one, I won’t be complaining.
