OM Yoga Magazine, August edition – Review

Recently OM Yoga Magazine asked if I would like to be affiliated with them. Being a bit of a fitness junkie with a fondness of yoga I immediately agreed. You don’t need to be a hardcore ‘yogi’ to find an article relevant to you.

I’m certainly no yoga bunny. After a few technical difficulties my end I was able to download the July edition onto my dads tablet. OM Yoga is the first digital magazine I’ve read and I was very sceptical but I actually really like the digital format. Unlike printed mags, it is interactive so really engages you. Some articles have bits you can click on for more information. The ‘Planet Yoga’ article lets you click on various parts of the world and find out about cool things like horse yoga, something I just had to ‘google image’.

The tablet version of the magazine if easy to use with a neat, tidy layout that flows. Other articles that stood out to me were ‘Yoga for Cyclists’ as I’ve been cycling to work this summer and ‘Yoga meets Physiotherapy’. I used to have a bad hip from running so when I started physiotherapy I increased my yoga practice and my problems soon disappeared. Yoga definitely helped so it was great to read about this.
The September edition is already out so expect a review very soon now that I’ve sorted my technical issues. I’m already excited for the October editions. Reading OM Yoga gives me such motivation to roll out my mat and get into downward dog.

Yeah. When I first started I thought that it looked so easy. I was dripping with sweat within the first half hour.

I know! I'd heard of doga (dog yoga) and baby yoga before. I had to look it up on the internet. It looks amazing haha.
