If you’ve read a lot of beauty blogs recently, then the may be aware that this week is Organic week. I thought this would be a great opportunity to showcase my favourite cruelty-free organic brands. I try to be careful what I put onto my skin so organic week has certainly opened my eyes. Unsure what ‘organic’ means when it comes to beauty products? The Soil Association explains it perfectly here.
I love Badger Balm and am looking forward to filling my backpack with lots of their products when I’m in the USA later on in the year as we seem to only have a small handful of their range here in the UK. Sun cream, insect repellant, muscle rub, haircare, soap. Badger Balm does it all and does it all very well!
A brand I’ve only recently tried, Lavera is highly popular amongst green bloggers as they are natural using no harmful parabens etc. They are also gluten-free! I have tried various samples and love their BB cream. Great for make-up as well as skincare. I look forward to trying more from Lavera as so far I’ve liked everything I have tried.
Neal’s Yard Remedies
One of my favourite brands (and my mums). From skincare to treatments such as my recent acupuncture (read about this here
), Neal’s Yard Remedies
has been on the Organic bandwagon before the wagon was even invented. They even do a tea and aromatherapy oils which are great to add to foot spas and oil burners.
I love Raw Gaia
. Their chocolate orange bath melts are my favourite indulgent item after a long week at work. (I reviewed these melts here
.) Like all their products, their facemasks use top quality ingredients and actually make a visible difference to my skin after use, so expect a full review in the future. If I come into some money and pause my super extreme spending ban
, I’d love to try their gorgeous sounding MSM Beauty Toner
. Many of their products come in trial sizes so you don’t have to dish out on a product your skin might disagree with and from my experience they last ages.
Multi-award winning Dr Organic
can be found in most Holland & Barrett’s
. I have tried their pomegranate lipbalm and want to try their haircare products as I’ve heard nothing but fantastic reviews from fellow cruelty-free and green bloggers.
Have you tried any of these brands I’ve mentioned? What are your top Organic beauty brands?
