|e.l.f Zit Zapper
Not so long ago they had a whopping 50% off everything so I did a little e.l.f haul (read about it here). One of the things I bought was the Zit Zapper. It’s extremely easy to use, you simply roll it over any spots you have and let the ingredients do their job. Not much is needed, just enough to absorb into the blemishes. It is quick drying as it contains alcohol so be careful if you suffer from very dry skin.
At a bargain price of £1.95 I did question it’s effectiveness but the proof was in the use. I’m lucky and rarely get spots so when I saw one developing on my chin, out came the Zit Zapper and it was gone the next day! I can’t say that I was surprised as it contains tea tree oil, witch hazel and camphor, all very well known for their spot fighting and skin calming properties. However, it also contains salicylic acid which is the the equivalent of atomic warfare on spots. No spot stands a chance when salicylic acid comes into play.

For such a low priced item, I think the packaging is elegant and simple. It certainly doesn’t look cheap to me plus it’s small and light so fits happily into any bag (or stuffed in a pocket). I’ve used this reasonably frequent and I still have loads left. Animal friendly + low cost + long lasting + actually works = MUST BUY MORE!
