Let The Good Times Roll Cleanser, Lush – Review

When I read Hailey’s guest post about her skincare routine which she wrote for me a long time ago now (click here to read), I knew I had to get myself a pot of Let The Good Times Roll, a fresh gentle exfoliating cleanser from Lush. When I first heard about this I wasn’t too fussed but Hailey sold it to me and I’m glad she did.

Let The Good Times Roll is a gentle facial cleanser and exfoliator which was released a couple of Christmas’ ago. Understandably, Lush has since added it to their regular products (Thank you!)
This cleanser is made with cinnamon and popcorn and has such a comforting homely almost burnt-caramel scent. Think lightly caramelised freshly popped corn. Yum. This is also a great cinnamon product for those who dislike cinnamon. Yes I know that’s an odd thing to say but I would not have even realised there was any cinnamon in there unless I had read the ingredients. Don’t let it put you off to all you strange cinnamon haters out there.

Before purchasing I was a bit worried that I’d see huge bits of popcorn but luckily it is smooth and yellow and yes, I’ve been a naughty blogger as I didn’t take a picture of the contents before I used the whole pot up (slaps wrists). Sorry… Not sorry.

As with all of Lush products, LTGTR is packed full of skin loving ingredients. Maize flour is used as a gentle abrasive to cleanse the skin. I used a thumbnail amount around 2 -3 times a week and found it really worked well with my skin. Many exfoliators are too abrasive and strip my skin of its natural oils making it dull, tight and dry. This is by far my favourite cleanser by Lush and I’m very glad that it has become one of their staples.

I have long since ran out as I actually brought this post way back when I was in Australia but I am going to restock the next time I’m at Lush. It is one of my favourite products.

Have you tried LTGTR? What is your favourite exfoliating cleanser?

I have heard of this cleanser before from one of my favourite YouTubers. I have never tried anything lush before. However, I may have to try this.

I'm currently on the look out for a new facial cleanser and this is looking to be a really good option. Thanks for the info. My skin is dry and needs a lot of moisture.

Yes yes! If there isn't a store nearby then order off their website. Be sure to grab a limited edition product from their kitchen if you do.

Oh MAN! This is my all-time favorite Lush cleanser. I also use it on elbows and shoulders when I get dry from the sun during the summer. I remember when it came back one Christmas and I stocked up! The smell is to die for. PS – I just realized I never replied to your #FleaBagFriday comment on my blog! Do you still do that feature?
