How I get a better sleep using Warming Eye Masks, MegRhythm Kao – Review

Some of you may know that I often work night shifts. Working throughout the night is not too bad but when I get home at 6:15am, falling asleep can be tricky.
I always wear an eye mask to block out the light but even so, it can still take a long time to fall asleep. My old eye mask had 2 adjustable beads on the sides which made it very uncomfortable. Then I remembered an eye mask I tried in Australia that heats up! A quick google search led me to MegRhythm Kao Hot Eye Masks.

I bought a box of 14 rose scented masks. There are loads of scents to choose from: lavender, lavender & sage, yuku, chamomile & ginger, citrus, menthol, as well as unscented. Each mask comes in a sachet. They are made with cotton and they stay in place via hoops over your ears. They are extremely comfortable, light and easy to wear. They heat up as soon as they are opened, so make sure you are ready for sleep.
I estimate that the mask stays warm for 20+ minutes but I am not too certain as I am usually fast asleep before it has a chance to go cold. The smell of roses also adds a therapeutic aromatherapy aspect so my breath become deeper and slower, relaxing me into sleep.
I find the warmth on my face so soothing. Even during our summer heatwave I was still using these, as they are just so cosy. My eyes seem to appear a lot less puffy after using these masks which is an added bonus.
The only downside is that these are not re-heatable. Once they go cold, that is it. Of course you can still use them to block out light and enjoy the aroma, but they will not be warm unfortunately. Also, you may not want to leave a mask laying around, as they do look a tiny bit like sanitary towels haha.
So if you struggle to fall asleep at night (or whatever time you are trying to sleep), then I would highly recommend MegRhythm Kao eye masks. This is not at all a sponsored post, I just think these masks are awesome.
What are your top tips for falling asleep?

I also sleep with an eye mask! I actually can’t sleep without one and these sound delightful! I love that you felt less puffy after use. I will check them out. Thanks!

You can find them on Amazon and ebay. I am quite lucky as I only need to wear them when I am trying to sleep in the light.

I've never heard of these before but they sound dreamy. I tend to have a camomile before i go to bed and also try not to look at my phone. That works pretty well for me. 🙂

Those are great tips. I really enjoy a herbal tea before bed. I do look at my phone though but make sure the bluelight filter is on.

I love an eye mask but never have tried a heated one, cooling ones or similar gel & mesh one (my travel one doubles as post-nightshift sleep aid). If I could pick up one is a store, I'd buy one, prob not a whole box though

I forgot to mention that these come in smaller boxes. I just knew I would be using them alot so bought a 14 pack but if you look on the internet, you can by individual ones to try out.

If you are struggling then these are worth trying. The nice smell will make you breath deeper and the warmth is really soothing.

I've used a few Spacemask ones and they're so soothing once you get used to the sensation 🙂
