Multi-purpose Beauty Oils, Amphora Aromatics – Review

Rosehip Seed – Rejuvenating

Rosehip is a rich, anti-aging beauty oil full of vitamins and omega 3. This makes it very nourishing and great to use as a base oil for an anti-ageing facial or for massaging any areas with particularly dry skin. It also makes a very healing hair oil for dry and damaged hair. Like the other couple of oils, this is a great all rounder and suitable for all skin types/mature.

Jojoba – Conditioning

I like using jojoba beauty oil as a base oil in facials for those with normal/greasy skin as it is a quick absorbing, very light oil and really good at balancing the skins sebum levels (the oil your skin makes). It is a natural anti-inflammatory so great for those who suffer from outbreaks. If using on your hair, it makes it super shiny and won’t leave your hair flat.

Argan – Nourishing

My preferred method of using argan beauty oil is as a hair oil. I apply it before I go to bed from scalp down to the ends, then wash it off in the shower in the morning. It is high in vitamins and omega oils so good for dry skin and hair. It leaves my hair smooth and feeling healthy.

If like me, you loooove giving or receiving massage, then you’ll enjoy a previous post I did featuring Amphora Aromatics on How to Pamper your Feet in 5 Easy Steps. I’ve also reviewed (and been very impressed with) their Rose & Frankincense Toner and Jasmin, Mimosa & Rosehip Face Cream.

Have you tried any Amphora Aromatics products before? Do you use any beauty oils as part of your skincare or haircare routine?

I didn’t know you could use these in your hair as well! How out of the loop am I? I’ve only just started using serums and things on my skin because I wasn’t sure what I was doing with them but they’ve been a welcome addition to my skincare routine. All these oils have such amazing properties!

I use oil on my face most evenings as I like to let it sink in overnight. I do the same with my hair but only once or twice a fortnight.

Oils are amazing for your skin. It sounds counterproductive but even oily skin can benefit from them.

I love holistic therapies but I’ve never tried essential oils. Thanks for sharing – you have inspired me!

Essential oils are great but always add them to base oils. Do not put them directly on your skin! All the oils featured in this post are base oils which you can add essential oils to.

I love the idea of using argan in my hair; I am always looking for natural ways to nourish it. Jojoba sounds like a great one for me, though, because I have that greasy skin and hair you mentioned . . . I wonder if I could add these oils to face creams?

You could add a couple of drops to your cream. There will already be different oils in face cream so I wouldn’t add too much extra.

So high in vitamin E. I use this one at night time to replenish my skin overnight.
